Here's a little know fact about the PR03X. It supports 4 displays. You can plug 3 into the port replicator (1 15 pin analog, 1 DVI and one display port) and leave your laptop LCD open as a third display.

If you only take your laptop with you occasionally that is the best bet, nothing else to buy. If you are on the road with your laptop frequently buying an AC adapter is worthwhile.
